How often have you put something off or worse, not completed a project you had already started because you just didn't have the time to get it perfect? I know I've been guilty of that.
Well, tonight I thought I'd try a little experiment in being...not perfect...but "good enough."
We launched our latest 8-week Joint Venture Apprentice Class last week and have just three seats left, so I decided to send out an email to my list telling them about it. But I wanted to try something new. I decided to do it in "video" format.
But here's the problem...I've never made an internet video in my life (you see, I'm not the technical brain behind my business)...but I also decided not to let that stop me.
I downloaded some free screen capture software, made up a quick PowerPoint Presentation and had a go at it. It was fun, I learned a lot and it's definitely not "perfect"...
You can see if my attempt at using video is "good enough" by taking a look here
I had a dream to start my commerce, but I did not earn enough of money to do this. Thank heaven my close colleague told to use the loans. Hence I used the small business loan and realized my desire.

Ellen,
This is definitely "good enough", and then more. Great Role Model. Thank you.
Clear, to the point, DONE and out there! I'm glad that I am already enrolled in JVA.It served to inspire me to continue to push and Just Do It...
Thank you again.

Great Job! Info to the point! Created a need and suggested the solution. I don't think people look for perfection; they look for someone who understands where they are and has a potential remedy/hope.

Hi Ellen...
The quality of your work is fantastic.
Our perfectionism keeps us incredibly stuck! Sometimes we need to remember to just get going on it... and by doing this we keep moving forward.

Ellen, your video is very nicely done and definitely gets your point across. I'm also a recovering perfectionist. "Good enough is good enough" is my new motto. :-)
Warmly,

Hey! Good job Ellen! I'd say this is definitely good enough! I guess one could add cutesy graphics, powerful music and make it longer, but you got to the point very convincinly and made me wish I could be an apprentice of yours. Maybe next time around?
Y'all have fun now!

Very nicely done. A clever way to fill the class too! Two experiments rolled into one. Cheryl

Ellen, your first video was definitely "good enough"....and even pretty great!
And your method for list building is fabulous. I know. I'm building now! You are an amazing mentor!
Thank you so much...

That is definitely more than good enough. You sound like me when it comes to the technical side. Another good tool for making videos, slideshows or just audios is http://CommercialCreationCenter.net It is VERY simple to use.
